Forde: "We'll need to be at our best"

Precision Goalkeeper David Forde has said Ireland will need to be at their best if they are to qualify from what he described as a “mini-group” within Euro 2016 qualification Group D.

“It’s a tough group,” Forde told RTÉ Sport.

“You’re looking at Germany probably looking like the strongest outfit, Poland and Scotland and ourselves in that mini-group to qualify for the second spot.

“We beat Poland at home and we drew 0-0 away recently, as well, so you know we know we need to be on our game, and if we are up to our best, I think we can qualify.”

Precision Goalkeeping Make Winning International Debut

Precision Goalkeeping made their full international debut at the weekend courtesy of Republic of Ireland’s Keiren Westwood.

Coventry City keeper, Westwood, helped the Republic of Ireland to a 2-1 win over Macedonia in their European Championship qualifier.

Westwood’s appearance marks the first appearance of Precision Goalkeeping gloves in a full international fixture.

David Sanderson, National Sales Manager for Precision Training, said; “We are delighted Keiren has made his competitive debut for the Republic of Ireland.

“He is an outstanding keeper and we are very proud that he has chosen to wear our gloves both for Coventry and the Republic of Ireland.

Emirates Date for Schmeichel

Precision Goalkeeping’s Kasper Schmeichel has big cup date at the Emirates to look forward to in 2011.

Leeds United have been drawn away to Arsenal in the third round of this season’s FA Cup, the fixture is due to take place over the weekend of the January 8th.

Kasper launched his new “Schmeichology – the art of goalkeeping” range of gloves with Precision Goalkeeping in November.

Kasper’s Appearance Causes a Stir

Kasper Schmeichel’s appearance at the STAG show caused quite a stir.

The Leeds United keeper and face of the Precision Goalkeeping range was on the stand to launch the brand new Schmeichology range to the STAG buying group.

Schmeichel has played a major role in the development of the new range of which a number of limited edition gloves are now available.

Speaking following the STAG Show, Precision Training National Sales Manager, David Sanderson, said; "The STAG show was a great success from our perspective.”

"Having Kasper there to launch the new Precision Goalkeeping range caused a lot of excitement around the stand, and we had a great response to the brand new Precision Boxing and Running ranges, which will launch in the new year.”

Adds Sanderson: "We have lots of exciting projects ongoing and that excitement was reflected by the reaction of the STAG members at the show."

Schmeichology - The Science of Goalkeeping

Precision Goalkeeping launched their new range of goalkeeping gloves this weekend at the STAG show.

Schmeichology – the science of goalkeeping, will be fronted by Leeds United’s Kasper Schmeichel who signed a three year deal to become brand ambassador in August.

Schmeichel, the former Notts County custodian and son of goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel, will be the face of Precision Training's newly-launched Precision Goalkeeping brand.

Precision Training have developed a bespoke range of gloves - designed exactly to Schmeichel's specifications - as part of the three year partnership
