Mersey Tigers will not have the chance of the double this season.The Precision Training professional partners lost in the final of the British Basketball League cup to Sheffield Sharks at the NIA in Birmingham.
Mersey Tigers, however, currently top the BBL with 24 points - 4 points ahead of nearest rivals Cheshire Jets.
